The Honey

EVEN BEFORE missing me, he has already forgotten how
As on his first day the dawn breaks a bow

He ruffles his wings to dry it to the hilt
At the beads of dew that heats up his guilt

He remembers his Lover like the sweet smell of nectar
Hiding at the bottom where the blooming flowers are

The fairytale is new, he was a larva
Unaffected by light, for he has no sight

Like a door, the petal threw away its key
Allowing this feeling of longing, to blame the heart as can be

The white polens are secret lips of a Lover
But its tongue is numb, its sweetness falters

The waving branch is the Lover's beckons
Calling him with a voice, the megavoice of silence

He will only return, when a dew is sugary
Dot sprinkled song, from an ocean-wide honey

On his wings, time fluttered and stayed,
He did not refuse, and the days are used

He did not care, how many flowers he had hit
The buzz soon went quiet - marking it

Is a Lover the shadow of day?
The finger wind, points at the pollen

Is a Lover the silence that may?
Fly around thrice the world is taken

Is a Lover blunt within him?
An avatar - who finds and no longer hunt

Once there, he might not have been there
Only another body, to continue its affair

Picking up sugar clarity, a secret sweet
Before the flower falls, and fruit takes no heed
His wings will wither, and so much further...

When he is gone, he might be forever
In Honey, that touches the tongue of his Lover
