Ballad of Whoever

HE breathes with a harmonica, distraught imagining
poetry, the last poet's poem, of death & a new beginning.

This is like a ballad of whoever, like an adventurer
finding a map to a lost ether, then he gave his word to stay,
leaving his name there, forever.

Inhaled and exhaled song will occur, as he
kissed a lover's lips on the harmonica.

Always it makes him eye his close a little deeper.

This is like a ballad of whoever, and it referred
to what most likely (and most unlikely)
he will sing endlessly about Love & Silence.

Love because he has dared to dream of a dream
Silence because he knows he will return to whoever he has been

Both gives birth to his breathing song on the harmonica,
the lover's lips kissing a deeper longer hunger.
